The legendary Chef ”Guzz” Gustafsson at Food and fun
Food and fun festival combines outstanding culinary skills and fresh natural Icelandic ingredients and is held for the ninth time on the 24 – 28 February.
The main emphasis is to expose the world to the incredible culinary skills of Icelandic and international chefs and the pure ingredients that make Icelandic cooking so fresh and flavorful.
At Grand hotel you can taste the delicates that is prepared by most famouse Icelandic chefs and their international.
Chef Johan ”Guzz” Gustafsson is a legend in the culinary world of Marstrand where he runs the popular seafood and shellfish restaurant Mama’s in the harbor.
Chef Gustafsson has a successful history as a chef in Gothenburg and has worked at the most acclaimed restaurants in there like Brasserie Lipp, Restaurant Christina, Fiskkrogen and Långedrags Wärdshus before he took a position as the Excutive Chef at the Grand Hotel of Marstrand. Four course Food and Fun dinner
Cod and lobster carpaccio with beetroot and lobster vinaigrette, deep fried oyster ball and parmesan cheese.
Oven baked loin of haddock with horseradish and “Västerbotten” cheese; ragout of root celery and king crab in sweet/sour dill sauce.
Filet of Icelandic lamb with smoked almond potato pure, parsnip, garlic crème and pancetta.
Winter apple consommé with coffee ice cream and biscuits
Price for a four course dinner is only 6.900 ISK.
