Rent a bike to explore Reykjavik 

At Grand Hotel Reykjavik you can rent bicycles. Renting a bike is a great way to explore the city.

There are plenty of bicycle paths in and around Reykjavik´s coast line and valleys that are designed with safety in mind and avoid automobile traffic when possible. The family can bike around the city of Reykjavik and it is easy to get around on a bike. We can reccommend several cycling routes f.ex.;  Elliðaardalur Valley  a relaxing recreational area within the city and it is fun to explore a salmon river that runs through the valley. Also there is a nice routes along the south coastline of Reykjavik, a place called Ægissíða, with nice views of the sea and other worth seeing surroundings of Reykjavik. Everyone should find a route that suits.
