The world’s northernmost capital Reykjavik is a new and fun place to ring in the new year.
Icelandic law place no restriction on the use of fireworks, and for that reason the most distinguishing characteristic of an Icelandic New Year’s Eve are the spectacular fireworks show that the Icelandic people put on.
Firework goes on all night and with the peak at midnight. After midnight Icelanders celebrate the new year at home or gather downtown.
Included in the New Year´s Celebration are:
