Volcanic adventure in Iceland

Proven once again, Iceland is truly the land of fire and ice.

A grand volcanic eruption has started at the Eyjafjallajokull glacier in South Iceland and we would like to take you there to see it firsthand. We drive from Reykjavik along the south shore to Hvolsvöllur. From there we turn off the main road and head to Fljótshlíð, where we stop to view the volcanic activity at a safe distance away from the eruption. Our guides give you a good overview of the geology of the area and about volcanic eruptions.
